Lisa Roberts

Lisa Roberts is an accomplished attorney who recently retired from the practice of law but continues to support the legal profession and the Contra Costa County Bar Association through positions on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee and the Contra Costa Justice for All Committee.  She previously practiced general civil litigation with McNamara, Ambacher, Wheeler, Hirsig and Gray LLP for 34 years in the areas of personal injury, landlord-tenant, school district defense, construction defect, sexual harassment and easement litigation.

Previous involvement in the County includes CCCBA Women’s Section Board member and President, CCCBA Board Member, Secretary and Treasurer, Temporary Discovery Commissioner, County Bar Bias Committee member, County Bar Food From the Bar Committee member and founding member of the Diversity Committee.  Lisa is also a volunteer advocate for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for youth in Foster Care and a mentor with the Law Academy at De Anza High School.

Lisa graduated from University of California, Davis.  She went on to complete her Juris Doctorate at Santa Clara University.  She later returned to Santa Clara University for a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and Administration.
